Also, I want to say it was an absolute pleasure to read the Bid Books, Good job to TNMP, Usa2024olympics & DamC! Even though some of the work was rushed due to time, it was still excellent work!

Anyone got the full openings for the 1994 and 1998 Goodwill Games that were held in St.Petersburg and NYC? Would go great with my gymnastics tapes...

If suicide was the reason then it is a rather selfish act, because you are not only killing yourself, but over 100 innocent people that are happy with their lives too. This reminds of that SilkAir flight that went plumetting into the ocean because the Pilot was not happy with his life, he also locked the CO-Pilot out. It's a rather dumb thing to do in my opinion.

I love the Magic Box, it stands out in front of the other Bid Books, very extravagant and nice.

This is very sad, the Helicopter Crash and now this, like Stefan, I feel uncomfortable boarding a plane until landing, I usually try and escape travelling by air (Using train or something) I've tried to overcome it but this makes me even more uncomfortable. RIP

Hm, yeah, you got a point, the 1980 Olympics Boycott affected the Olympics a lot and if the USSR hosted the 1990 WC then there would be just as big as a boycott the 1980 one was, I would love to see their Bid Book though.

Well, I saw an article of the US confirming a 2026 WC Bid, so I decided to research and stumbled across this: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/row-zed/how-fifa-escaped-nazis-8-3771652
To be honest, I was not surprised at all to see Nazi Germany on there but I also saw Soviet Union and was thinking 'How the heck did they lose?' Anyone got info on this?

The first Olympics I've ever watched was Seoul in 1988, I managed to go to Atlanta too, The only reasons I went was for the Opening/Closing Ceremonies and Gymnastics Events, I really got into the bidding process when I was on holiday to Japan and I spotted an Osaka 2008 Poster, that drew my attention to the bidding process.

Ok, so I saw this thread that Khaled made, it was about making a website or something containing all Documents submitted by the users to various bid competitions. Unfortunately, I think he scrapped that idea... Anyways, I want to take that project into my hands and am going to get it done. If you don't know the thread I mentioned, here is the idea.
I will setup a Site or Uploading Acc (Like Issuu) and I will collect bid documents that Y'all have made and upload them onto that Site/Acc, this would showcase the work you all came up with and also can help people who are working on their Bid Books. What do you all think of this idea? and can you please upload your Bid Books and either PM them to me or just put a link on this thread which will help me put them onto the Site/Acc.
Also, do not worry about submitting the Applicant/Candidature Files from the current 2028 Bid Comp since I can download them.

Yeah, about that....The Putrajaya Bid Book is in pictures and I don't know how to convert Pictures to PDF, Plus I have no PC, if you can make the Putrajaya Bid Book into PDF and PM me it, then I'll be happy to upload it
Also, those that have participated in the 2026 Fantasy Bid Comp, please RE-UPLOAD your Bid Books here, I've uploaded Australia-New Zealand, West Indies and Antarctica, I'm looking for China, USA, Thailand-Vietnam and Canada!
