Russia, Ukraine and Cuba are losing out in Beijing. But the Asian are doing well ! China, Japan & Korea up there ! Malaysia got is first medal since 1996, Singapore since 1960 . I think the US will close the gap thanks to Track & Field but China will still have more golds.

Russia is the big disapointment here ! But GB is going a great job leading up to London 2012.

Tomorrow is the big day ! Will Singapore upset the home crowd for the women's team event ? Anyway, the Koreans and the Japanese will be playing for the bronze medal of that event after beating Hong Kong & USA repectively. Germany was also made it to the final for the men's team event after beating Japan 2-3 . They will face the winner of the China Vs South Korea match which is starting in just a few minutes.

The semi and final are two separate games . Libby Tricket finished 12th in the 100m woman butterfly heats before winning in the finals and you don't see anyone calling a cheat, now do you ? Get over it , what are you ? 11 ?

The other semi final match , China Vs Hong Kong has started with China winning the first match. The winner will meet Singapore in the finals. After the thriller match, its anyone's guess to predict who will win this one.

Thank You for correcting me, Huaiwei ! The Second semi between Singapore & South Korea starts at 14.30 , the winner will face either China or Hong Kong ! If Singapore wins this, they would proceed to the finals. It would mean either a silver or gold for Singapore, finally breaking the 48 year medal drought for Singapore at the olympics ! The last time Singapore won was in Rome 1960 when Tan Howe Liang won a silver in weightlifting.
