I read that the Olympic Park (stadium, arena and aquatic center) will be united with the IFEMA (Juan Carlos I park and other venues) this in other madrid´s bids don´t exite.

but in spain many people work no contract. this is one of the problem in the spanish´s economy. If you visit Madrid now, you don´t feel the "crisis"... many people buying, in bar, etc etc.. But the rural zone is really the drama of this crisis.

In madrid, the employ is better than the total of spain, now is in 17%, 8% less than the total. Madrid is the first economy in spain, and the city is the 3th in european union. I think the situation not is so bad than other spanish region, andalucia, murcia or canarias for example.

The Juan Carlos I park was built for the european culture capital in 1992, there is sculture, lakes... I think this is the best place... maybe "Casa de Campo" in the lake zone, with the Madrid Arena, Theme Park and zoo nearly. And view the city center. for me the bid need more thing impressive, no only be the best tecnical... rio and london no are the best... but they are impressive.

I think if Madrid no win this race... we need made other project more impressive. for example the Juan Carlos I park, very nearly than the olympic ring in this bid and the IFEMA pavillion (press center and other sports venue) is perfect for the olympic park, is more big than the present. the airport is just behind and has subway.
