From A to D, there is nothing that scream Japan nor Tokyo, B it's scream more to China than Japan, C it's look more India than Japan... D is like The Philippines than Japan....and A it's more like east european country than Japan... really what happen to Japan ???

RIP Brussels, but i really wonder with the security in Brussels, the length between 1st attack at airport and 2nd attack in subway around 97 minutes, how could that possible ? What did the security do there ? There are 90+ minutes interval ?@!#@$! after the 1st attack, the security should be more secure... I'm not boasting, but we in Indonesia, a country that categorize as 3rd world country, could prevent attacks like that, the 1st attack should be nullified ASAP, and after that the community should be work together to prevent 2nd attack... Really sad for Brussels, but you have to work better than that to face terrorist.

@Zigzag, sorry i mean the PON nascott in 90s era...it's really look very unprofesional... really this ASIAD 2018 won't be a success event, all if us seem just very reluctant to do it properly, especially in Jakarta....

The star actually is a sun for ASIAD logo, all the previous ASIAD logo has this sun, it's like the 5 rings on olumpic logo.

It because the South Sumatra Governor wants to add Palembang in the logo, so he wants the host cities to be Jakarta - Palembang, but the AOC said only 1 city could be shown on the logo, now Indonesia wants to negotiate it... so it's silly thing actually

The logo is inspired by Cendrawasih, the endemic bird from Papua, actually there is no long story behind the logo, it just to spread the Asian games to Indonesian, since the main host city is Jakarta, and the support cities are in Palembang, Bandung, and Banten provinces, all the locations are in West Indonesia, so they choose Cendrawasih as the representation from East Indonesia.

When Jakarta won to be the the ASIAD host, i was very excited, because i hope this event could drag Jakarta to be a better city, i really hope the govt will force the Jakarta citizen to be more civilized, i hope Jakarta could be a world class city, like the neighbor Singapore, but up to now, in July 2015, there is no sucvh a thing, like i said, the govt seems doing nothing except for the MRT...

I think football is the only sport that will be relocated, but i also believe that when the ASIAD started the ban for Indonesian FA is already lifted, so no worries, the events will take place in Indonesia... My worry is,as a person who live in Jakarta, i don't see any preparation for the games, except the MRT thing, and the plan to build new swimming pool... i really don't see major upgrade in Jakarta.... the the road is still full of potholes... the traffic jam is getting worse, the air pollution still very bad, there is no improvement in the pedestrian... the mentality of the jakarta's people still like uneducated people.... oh God. how will Jakarta host it... it's really unimaginable....

Hi guys, sorry to bother this fantastic thread, but after a quite long hiatus, i'm back to the board, at 1st i just want to check the ASIAD section after Vietnam's withdrawal, then after that i check it into logo competition (Thanks Rob's i got your message, but seems it's too late )from that logo competition i found a guy, a very special guy, at first i don't see any wrong with him, but after a while, i found it, this guy is a very special one, the way he defend himself, the way he really stick to this theory that the Earth actually flat... or there is really a capital of the world, or the way he really think this thread is a serious thread, he didn't realize the actual purpose of this london 2012 logo competition... now i'm just really curios about you guys, are you really think this a guy at the same level with you ? i think this guy is only less 12 years old, or if he is older than 12 years old, then he has to be a person with special needs, do you guys really want to thread him like this ? i don't think it's fair for him, all of us a normal mature person, why we bother to mock a kid ? (although is fun to read his comment hahahah...) krow, could I join this competition thank you
