  1. Live show for the logo release : http://www.goldcoast.com.au/article/2013/04/04/449494_gold-coast-news.html
  2. I suppose this is nothing official, as I doubt they will be authorized to use the olympic rings alone that way !
  3. First picture of one bid book released in Lausanne today... but can't see the book...
  4. Is this just me or this forum is becoming slower (sometime blocking a few seconds) with all those animated advertisments ?
  5. That's a very nice brochure for the last minute lobbying action before the vote in Monaco !
  6. this thread is not dead... just asleep, wiating for new bid book to pop up on ebay & elsewhere...
  7. Just add a second member in my ignore list and will feel better....

  8. Holding the Paralympics first, is not what I call "merge the 2 events! So I don't see how to organize both events alltogether... simply impossible in keeping the actual size or both events. Also impossible from my pov to get them the one after the other without break. But what could be done to give more exposure to the Paralympics, is to get them first with only 5 days break between both events
  9. I only went to one in Lausanne a few years ago, but Memorabilia is a well know collector in France ! So yes, those fairs are the same as the one he attend this year in Athens and last year in Chicago and that he shared here some info & pics...
  10. Yes, the olympic collectors fair is every year. It was used to be in Lausanne at the Olympic Museum, but for years it is world wide ! 2009 : Warsaw 2010 : Koln 2011 : Chicago 2012 : Athens 2013 : in Norway (city to be confirmed)
  11. The Paris 2012 Bid Book as most of the recent bid books is pretty well known, as published in pdf online and shown on internet.... what is more rare is past bid book or bid documentations as the Manchester's one !!!
  12. Because one of my missing French Bid book ! France is my birth's country and Albertville is 90 minutres drive from home ;-)
  13. You are not the owner of a thread.... even if you started it !!!! And it is better to get specific thread on specific topics instead of mixing everything in a same thread... I opened a new "torch" thread for you here : !!!
  14. Yes, all "modern" bid books & applicant files are bilingual French & English, the 2 official languages of the IOC. Some applicant files and also bid books (but mostly in pdf) are also bilingual English + the language of the country ! (Spain, Turkey, Brazil, ...) Regarding the promotional brochures, it depends.... you will find some bilingual english/french when used at some official IOC functions, some others in the sole language of the bidding country, some others in some of the main languages of the IOC members (English, French, Spanish, Arabic, ....) and finally some various on the language were some promotional operations were realized (I have for example some Rio 2016 bid brochures in German, when they were doing promotional actions during the 2009 IAAF World Champs !)
  15. May be people with education and not only speaking the only one English language could be interested... and even if in French it's a rare bid book ! I'm not actually buying, but still have an eye on it....
  16. The Albertville 1992 so called "report" is in fact not an official report, but only the official photo book !
  17. Its Albertville 92 looks like an official OCOG Games Report. Just checking around, and will confirm ! fyi, I've got mine Berlin 2000 bb around 100 Euros.
