  1. I saw this story that the Japanese was going to start the relay 30 days earlier than the IOC's plan and that made me wonder could the IOC bring back the global Olympic Torch Relay? https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1059525/olympic-torch-relay-to-last-30-days-longer-than-ioc-target-tokyo-2020-president-reveals https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2017/12/27/national/tokyo-2020-torch-relay-last-130-days-organizing-committee-chief-says/
  2. Here is NBC's coverage of Cathy Freeman's Race. One of the Great Moments In Olympic History
  3. Does anybody know a website where I can watch or download full past FIFA World Cup matches?
  4. https://www.olympicchannel.com/en/events/pyeongchang-2018/
  5. The only person that I can think of to produce the ceremonies is Ric Birch http://spectak.com/
  6. The PyeongChang Games was better than I anticipated. Of course, NBC's live coverage of the games was alright and the US medal count damped expectations and winning 9 gold medals for the third straight Olympics shows how the US still needs a little bit more to do like win a medal in biathlon. The hockey competition was lackluster to say the least, I hope the IOC and the NHL will compromise before Beijing seeing the mistake they made. All in all, these games were okay and they were no where spectacular like Lillehammer, Salt Lake and Vancouver. But, I'm afraid that the price tag for Beijing four years from now, will be a lot worst than Sochi's to the point that nobody will bid for a Winter Olympics in 2034 and beyond.
  7. With PyeongChang now over, is it enough to say that Calgary in '26 and Salt Lake in '30 is now a forgone conclusion?
  8. Here's something curious from NBC http://nbcsportsgrouppressbox.com/2018/01/16/dale-earnhardt-jr-to-make-nbc-debuts-at-super-bowl-lii-and-winter-olympics/
