    Wow, this is really not good. In this case I guess it will not be just small adjustments. Otherwise you didn't need to cancell a press conference.

    Last night it was morning and afternoon rain and evening no rain. And woke up this morning and looks likte other way around unfortunately. Especially around 23:00 more than 60% chance of rain.

    Poor athletes. 42 minutes in the rain. Or will they sit inside and we have a hidden parade? I guess 42 minutes in rain with a risk of getting sick just before Olympic competitions is not a great idea.

    At least BBC says there's only 12% chance of rain in Paris Friday night. Let's hope so 😅

    Pity that it seems to rain the evening of Friday now But predictions seem to change daily. So let's hope there will no or not too much rain in the end.

    Will there be screens along the route so the ticketed spectators can follow the rest of the ceremony?

    First the closing ceremony, now the opening. Maybe both? 😅 Think better to wait.

    This is what I am afraid of as well. That there is so much that it will be impossible to see and follow it all. Especially as ticketed spectator. You just see a very small part and that's it. But will see Friday, maybe in the end it will be not that much at the same time.

    Don't you think that the closing ceremony of Milano Cortina 2026 in the Verona theatre is already something else? Not a stadium, more creative, historical background etc.

    I am a bit confused now. So, the parade starts at 19:30. The first boat will take 42 minutes to arrive. So that will be 20:12. But the opening ceremony only will start at 20:24. The artistic scenes will be along the route. But they cannot start before 20:24 I assume? So how can they still maintain the idea to have artistic scenes between the parade? Or this is only for the second part? Or do they start after the parade after all, since it seems the lichting of the cauldron is 23:30 now and after some light in the sky thing. So with 3 hours and 3 quarters indeed the ceremony should start around 20:30?

    Good news. I already saw in Instagram some athletes who got their accreditation today.

    11:30? So the end of the ceremony will be a bit later? Maybe the 30 torchbearers will carry the flame from the Eiffeltower to Louvre? Ant interesting that they speak about the whole of Paris. Can't wait when reading all of it 😅
