  1. And then you complain about the aggressiveness of the Spanish in this forum . Runningrings, Did you not realize how offensive you are? . if someone feels humiliated then reacts more aggresively. It's a very dirty campaign in this forum and all of us have contributed more or less. I hope Madrid wins, but Istanbul and Tokyo are also fantastic cities. Maybe is time we lower the tension . it's getting nasty .
  2. El Valle de los Caídos as moument and location is beautiful but it is true that much of the Spanish population see it with pain for reasons that we will not discuss here. I recommend you change it by a beautiful aerial view of El Escorial Monastery .
  3. Host city winner --> Madrid First city voted out --> Istanbul How many voting rounds to decide the winner --> Two Which sport will be added --> Baseball Who will be the new IOC president --> Thomas Bach
  4. Volunteers receive information about bid related events (popular runs, sporting events, charity events, promotional video recording ...) inviting us to participate in different functions. A lot of them had participate in more than 5 promotional events this yearr. They are 50,000 people actively involved on the illusion to organize the Games.
  5. "Cuando vayas a Madrid chulona mía voy a hacerte Emperatriz de Lavapies" "When you go to Madrid mine chulona (beautifull girl) I'll make you Empress of Lavapies (an old district of Madrid)" Tipical Madrileña folk Dedicate to Olympic torch
  6. Madrid wait for you citizens of the world.
  7. I think taht the Fukushima problem is not the natural accident but the subsequent uncontrolled nuclear material handling which is demonstrated in discharges to sea. Japanese government will have to spend much money on fix these problem, which is more important to celebrate the Games
  8. optimism is our value to the world
  9. Multiple experts have pointed out the timing of the Japanese elections and TEPCO’s announcement, wondering if the public had received confirmation earlier if it would have prevented Prime Minister Abe from retaining authority. In the words of a professor at the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, “Most marine experts who have studied the effect of the Fukushima disaster on surrounding ocean areas hold the view that radioactive water has been leaking from the plant. It’s common sense." From: http://enformable.com/2013/07/tepco-has-a-different-view-of-safety-than-the-public/
  10. Baron, Do you want sail in a radioactive ocean?. Are you sure that it is safety for sailors?. Are you sure I'm exaggerating? Read the new carefully, they do not know the magnitude of the spill and qualify of emergency.
  11. I hope that GB report this new. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-23578859. If they do not they show their partiality.

      No, thanks!

Madrid shouldn't get the Olympics to avoid Olympics in France, Germany or Russia in 2024 - the Spanish capital should win only, when its bid is the best for 2020...

      You should challenge your attitude...

      I lean Madrid now.

  14. Intoronto, Istanbul's bid is an exotic bid as Rio, not an European bid. If Toronto or any city of USA wants an option for 2024 must vote for Madrid. I hope a Toronto's bid for 2024, is the birthplace of my wife.
