  1. I just received few minutes ago a email from Cosport confirming the "live Sale" this monday. They don't specify at what time they start, and under wich time channel Anybody knows ? I tried to called them last week with no success.
  2. Since I consider the possibility of making some trade for tickets with somes of you, I just registered as a Premium Member to have the possibility to extend my messages box.
  3. Audrey Lacroix is another serious countender for a medal in swimming
  4. Oupsss !!! Sorry. In the "Journal de Montreal" (french newspaper) of yesterday they announced that the deal was only for the Vancouver Games. They seems to make a mistake. I'm glad to know that the deal will be for Beijing too.
  5. I'm very happy for the winter game canadian athletes but I think it's unfair for the summer game athletes. What do you think they will have in mind knowing that winning a medal earn them absolutelly nothing when the others two years later will have a lot of money. If you do it for Vancouver 2010, do it also for Beijing 2008.
  6. If there's a possible reunion of GB members in Beijing, it's sure I will be happy to join you.
  7. It's always one or two weeks before the Opening Ceremony with a big press conference with some of the athletes. So, you have to wait until july. Until that, everything is keep secret.
  8. In some case I even saw more than 15X 110 euros for a ticket I paid via Cosport only 9 $US
  9. Here's the links : http://www.euroteam.info/subevent.asp?even...CFQJsPAodUHH0Cg Very expensive But every sessions seems to be available (and with no limits) Even Opening Ceremonies

  11. I also have to explain that I was not expecting being accorded so much tickets. To received a lot, you have to asked a lot. I got 10 on 10 for Gymnastic but I only got 2 on 18 for swimming.
  12. I know that I have a lot of tickets that I will not be able to use. (I can not be at three places in the same time) Lot of my extra tickets will serve to try to get me more swimming ticket. If I have to trade three Gymnastic Finals plus one Boxing Finals to get one Swimming Final (or any other combination), I will do it. Lot of my extra tickets will be given to athlets I'm very very close with from the Beach Volleyball Tournament. (I'm volunteer since four years for the FIVB Swatch Tour held in Montreal. And I made a lot of friends among the players (men and women)). I have good contact with few divers since I'm also involved in the canadian stage of the World Cup in diving. Same for road cycling and also water-polo (at the FINA 2005) From past olympic, giving some tickets to some athletes allowed me to get a lot of memorabilia from them. I got game worn jerseys, track suits, jackets, hats and lot of others official NOC stuff (from Brazil team, Germany team, Argentina team, Italian team, etc...). And off course also a lot of NOC pins. Also, at the Canadian headquarters, I always found some parents of athletes who made the trip but try to find desesperatelly some tickets to be able to watch their son or daughter. It's sure that if I'm able to accomodate them, I will be very very happy to do it. I'm not a scalper, I never sold a ticket. I know that I could make a lot of money with some of my tickets (specially the one for the 110m hurdles final), but that's not my goal. Yes, it's possible that I eventually make some trades with some peoples here on this website. Why not ? if you have tickets I want and I have tickets you want.

  15. I can confirm you that I received a lot of B and few C (I ordered only A category)
  16. You're Rowing ticket is for the 16th or the 17th ? Maybe we can make a deal. There's a lot of trade I will be interested to make eventually. Not now, I have to all reorganize my full agenda (including all the visit, Summer Palace, Great Wall, Forbidden City, Olymphilex, etc...), decide wich events I will choose to see in priority. After I will be able to determinate wich one of my tickets will be available for trade.
  17. No Opening Ceromony for me No big luck for Swimming (I asked 7 sessions of Finals level A, I got only one B and one C) Got almost ALL the sessions for Gymnastics (including extra tickets (for Finals) that I will not be able to use) Got the four sessions for Finals of Athletics I asked (all four with extra ticket) Ask a lot for diving, got only 2 sessions (no finals) Got a lot of Beach-Volleyball (8 differents sessions, including for women the 1/4, the 1/2 and the Finals) Got a lot of Boxing including the two sessions of Finals (lot of tickets I will not use) No Rowing Finals, and no Cycling Track Finals (I'm very disapointed) Lots of preliminaries games for Basketball and indoor Volleyball (including the Gold medal match for men), (lot of ticket I will not use) No Football Final Got Finals for Wrestling (one time) and Weightlifting (three times) Got Tennis two times (preliminary round) (I will only go ounce) Also got three sessions of Table tennis and one of Water-Polo plus 3 Baseball games (all of those, I will probabbly don't go) It's sure that I will have to make a lot of hard choice : I got Athletics Finals and Boxing Finals in the same time, the saturday night I got Volleyball Finals and Boxing Finals in the same time, the sunday afternoon I got Athletics Finals ang Gymnastics Finals in the same time, another night etc... With my extra tickets (wich included a lot of premium events) I will try eventually to make trade to get more Swimming Finals and maybe Opening Ceremony I asked a total of 105 tickets and I got 78, for a total of 1900$ Very happy for the result, but the biggest surprise for me is that they will charge my Visa card in US funds. The fact that the Canadian dollar improve so much against the US dollar recently : It will cost me about 18% less than what I expected when I placed my order few months ago.
  18. Today is the big day. I just called Cosport and they confirmed me that there's no additional delay and results of the draws will be send during the day.
  19. This is the message we receive today from Cosport (for Canada) Dear CoSport Customer: This letter is to formally advise that during the initial ticket request phase, which ended on June 30, 2007, certain events for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games were oversubscribed. This means that we have more people requesting tickets for certain events than have been allocated by the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) for sale in Canada. In order to allocate tickets for these oversubscribed events, we will conduct the lottery on Monday, October 29th. This lottery will be monitored and audited by Grant Thornton, LLP, one of the largest accounting firms in the world. On Tuesday, October 30th, we will send you an email with your ticket allocation. This email will also list the steps you will need to take in order to process your allocated tickets. Please look for this email as you will have a limited period of 72 hours to accept or decline your proposed allocation. In consideration of the extremely high demand and limited supply for tickets to some events, during this period of 72 hours CoSport has decided to offer our customers the option to accept or decline any tickets we are able to allocate to you. This ability to accept or decline any tickets will apply even if your total allocation exceeds 40% of your request. This process represents a change from the original Terms and Conditions which stated that the system would automatically process your allocation if we were able to allocate 40% or more of your request. We believe that this change of the Terms and Conditions is to your benefit, and will allow more of a choice in deciding if your want to purchase the tickets allocated to you. During this 72 hour period, orders will not be processed or charged unless we hear from you in the manner outlined in the email you will receive. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance that you read the email in a timely manner and process your order. Please include cosport@cosport.com in your email contact list (or safe sender list) to ensure timely delivery of the communications from CoSport. For customers that do not respond within 72 hours, we will automatically process and charge the orders that are 40% or more fulfilled, and cancel the ones that do not meet this threshold (as per our Terms and Conditions). Lastly, we will add additional offerings of “rooms only” to coincide with the announcement of the ticket confirmations. These will be available on our website on a first-come, first serve basis and available to all customers that requested or purchased tickets. Thank you, Adam Wixted Director of Sales, CoSport
