  7. 18 January 2015: Announcement of the competition. Time begins for announcing intention to bid. 28 February 2015: Applicant Cities to formally submit their Preliminary Application Files. Discussion within IOC begins. I think that 4 weeks to produce and submit a 5 page brochure is a bit lengthy, perhaps this should be reduced to 2 weeks.

Also after the Pan Am comp i entered fizzled into nothing and stopped halfway through, i am wary of putting in more work on this.

  13. The meaning behind my Anchorage logo: A for Anchorage, A for Alaska, A, for America. The dots represent snow and the Winter Games and the colours of red and blue against a white backdrop represent the colours of the USA flag.
  14. ok, so here is my official entry for this competition. It is a simple design, depicting an athlete in motion. The colour red symbolises the host nation of Japan and the figure is also shaped as a T for Tokyo, host city. It is in a brushstroke style to symbolise Japanese art. It also pays homage to older styles of Olympic logos. A simple, yet effective logo for Tokyo's games.
