  1. Who knows what will happen - I just don't think you can underestimate the strength of anti-china feeling in the UK and the popular support a boycott would have.
  2. If no western company can trade with China how will atheltes be able to enter because they wont even be flights there

  4. Could it end up being Paris 2026 or 2028 - Sir Matthew Pinsent is calling for Tokyo to move to 2024 with Paris going to 2028.
  5. They wont make a decision yet but they won't rule out telling people - they leave it to the autumn.   11. With more and more news from Hong Kong I can't see the UK government allowing the team to go.
  12. Debate in the UK Commons tomorrow on China - I think Raab likely to repeat his open to a boycott stance when it is inevitably raised as part of it. I think the aftermath of him saying that might be when the BOA and British winter Olympians comment on it - they need to starting preparing for a full scale debate on their participation.

  15. Slowly more and more sport stars are turning on China and Chinese companies so even if no nations boycott I think we might get some athletes boycotting.
  16. Canada is likely to have an election next year and the opposition leader is known to be pro-boycott so if he wins I don't expect to see Team Canada in Beijing.
