Rio de Janeiro 2016 Ceremonies.

Well, Olympic rings formed by people is safer than using mechanical equipment. The last three Olympics, two had mechanical equipment failures rings or torch (Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014). Although rings formed by people is disappointing ... it's as if we were in the 80s. Better than a failure that would be used as a symbol of the troubled organization of Rio 2016. -

I agree with my Brazilian colleagues. We believe that your participation will greatly enrich the debate. I know we is utopian at times, but it is only the desire to show that we are also great to the world. - Now I leave a question at all. Watching the pictures of Maracana, if that part is black water, as athletes will make the parade of nations? Go walk on water? -

Do not know, Queen whenever filmed was the closed face, is the parade of athletes, or at other times, such as in the opening statement, it was very brief, without sorrisso usually it is usually not unsympathetic. I believe that the sound in the stadium was high, but the Queen does not usually bother with it, just remember that in 2012 just two months before she sets participated in the 'Diamond Jubilee Concert' at The Mall, and even with loud remained with good humor from beginning to end. I inelegant show queen at that time in the parade of athletes. Oh God! No one looks at what the cameras are filming before the image changes? It was enough to wait 3 seconds. I think it's late for more money, the planning has been done with the previous amount. I do not care about spending, I just want that the only time that our country receives the Olympics can give worthy welcome to the world, and that includes an incredible show. I'm afraid to disappoint me. -

Even today I am curious to know why she seemed to be in a bad mood at the ceremony. Look the opening statement: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJG_Qu41IQw In addition, she was looking paras nails during Britain's parade. - Usually the queen is much more cheerful and attentive, my curiosity is great about why the bad mood. -

What I fear is that Rio can not produce a segment or close to the NHS. About London, I think it's unanimous that 'Pandemonium' was something really incredible, it was amazing from start to finish! About the NHS segment was the least liked. I wonder Brazil doing the same with the SUS (the Brazilian version of the NHS) would probably be a disaster, because our NHS is ridiculous by the NHS. But I think the NHS could have stayed out. I liked the sequence of the youth channel. Now a masterpiece was the sequence 'Happy and Glorious' with Queen Elizabeth II, who expected that? I Do not. The fault I found was that the queen leave the palace when it was still day and to make a short suddenly it was night, the Olympic Park is not far from Buckingham Palace, it did seem that Buckingham was in Manchester. -

Still I think Brazil is more than this superficial international image. But regardless of the image that will be displayed. The ceremony will be far from London 2012. Ok, need not be like Beijing in 2008, but the quality that London 2012 has shown the OC was impressive, here caught my attention from the sequence of the Thames to 'Hey June'. The soundtrack of the 2012 London was amazing. Oh sure, if you have the opening will be on closing the classic 'Aquarela do Brazil "(I love this song, but this is genuinely Brazilian) -

It is revolting. Our country will show the world like the episode of 'The Simpsons': a rain forest with monkeys, women dancing in carnival costumes, slums, samba, football, Carmen Miranda and the song 'Aquarela do Brazil'. Our country is much more than that! Also, I bet this will be a ceremony far behind in grandeur compared to Beijing 2008 and London 2012. It will be sad. -

Yes. But just make minor references to 'Pandemonium' made in London. The poppy flowers and the minute of silence remembering the war, the ship representing the naval expansion, the Industrial Revolution itself with the fields. Just show a follow-up comes the first Portuguese, followed by slaves and people dressed in uniform cutting, a paused with D. Pedro I declared independence, a dance sequence in court, with the Princess Elizabeth releasing the following slaves after the cut is taken from the scene and reach the Italians, Spaniards, Germans and Slavs, etc. There, all return and form the Olympic rings! The speaker announced: "Ladies and gentlemen, let's welcome His Imperial Highness Prince Don Luis de Orleans e Braganca, in the company of the President of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach ' The last part is Utopian. I do not know much about Serbia and Romania. But before monarchs so popular, why not restore the monarchy? Yes, the republic won. But you know that the plebiscite was involved in polemics. I know that Pedro II was not the king of Portugal, but very Brazilians think it was (even though his sister was queen of Portugal). I would not vote for the restoration of the monarchy in Brazil. But other countries I think should restore. -

I do not support the restoration of the Brazilian monarchy. But I think you should never have happened the Proclamation of the Republic. The history of the Empire needs to be told. Some brasilerios, think Pedro I and Pedro II were kings of Portugal while Brazil was still a colony, something in the style of the commonwealth realms before the Westminster Agreement. -

Yes. Not only Constantine II in Greece, as the royal family Serbia is also popular. I heard that most Serbs favor the restoration of the monarchy, did not know to what extent this is true. I doubt it. I believe in the impossibility of Temer take the government who would be opening: the governor of Rio de Janeiro, the mayor of Rio de Janeiro, the Minister of Sports, President of the Supreme Court and even Pelé. The Republican high class so fragile, would not want to give media spotlight for a royalty. -

Search the Paraná Research Institute, came out yesterday in the media. Temer has 36% approval in its first month. When was the last time Dilma TV approval of this size? - Now let's talk about the 'coup' 66% of Brazilian impeachment was not a coup against democracy. To 53% Temer end the mandate in 2018. Only 17% believe that Temer being worse than Dilma. http://veja.abril.com.br/noticia/brasil/governo-temer-e-desaprovado-por-55-aponta-pesquisa -

You summed it up well. Petropolis in the mountains of the state of Rio de Janeiro is about the 'Brazilian Versailles'. Brazil has historically ignores the Brazilian monarchy in schools, the books give little space, issues such as the Empire of Brazil are much less studied than others as Getulio Vargas (1930-1945) one fascist dictator or military regime (1964-1985). Also as a curiosity: a few years ago were voted the '100 greatest Brazilians of all time', Her Highness Princess Isabel was voted the 2nd most Brazilian of all time. -

I'm outraged! The history of Brazil Empire (1822-1889) is very important for our country. Our imperial family was responsible for giving independence to our country, abolish slavery (even against farmers who then would a coup), bringing railways, investing in the arts and sciences. Dom Pedro II was one of the first to see that education was the country's future with the College Dom Pedro II in Rio de Janeiro. The monarchy was supported by the Brazilian population on November 15 (the date of the coup), only the Army and the São Paulo coffee growers were against. The history of the Empire Brazil deserves to be told with all the trappings. His Highness opened the Olympic Games is impractical and utopian. But it sure would not be booed. Incidentally Pedro II is much better than all the presidents of the republic together. -
The Olympic Order to someone who was not in a Olympiad. It may be allowed, but do not think it's fair.

Interesting idea that aim to address the opening with 'Geometrization'. If you do not focus on clichés about Brazil the result promises to be great. I bet the Olympic rings will be formed of people, each ring representing a continent where they came from immigrants. But this would involve leaving the ring Oceania out of their genuine identity. The Ring of the Americas would be represented by the natives of Brazil. The Ring of Africa by Africans who were brought to Brazil in slavery. The Ring of Europe, the Portuguese mixer, Spaniards, Italians, Germans and Slavs. The Asia Ring, by the Japanese, Chinese and Korean. And probably the Oceania ring would be given to the Arabs. Still, in my opinion any ring formed by people will get behind the large productions made by London and Beijing. -
I just hope the COB choose someone who has a real chance of medals or someone with a lot of symbolism. Names like Sheila and Women's Volleyball Jaqueline are good ... the Brazilian team is strong. As Roberto Scheidt who knows Guanabara and is very strong historically any evidence. Football should not provide the standard-bearers, by the way, in my opinion would be ridiculous Neymar as flag bearers or even Pelé ascending the Cauldron. It has much more history and Olympic athlete with potential Neymar. Pelé was never in dispute in any Olympics.
-
Yes, it's an option. I think Marcus Vinicius D'Almeida is an option that is part of what the COB said since 2009, the famous 'Generation 2016'. Well, D'Almeida is the best result so far. But his could choose leave with Robert Scheidt
-
Any guesses on the standard-bearer of Brazil? If I could bet: Bernardinho (Volleyball - Men's Team Coach) José Roberto Guimarães (Volleyball - Men's Team Coach) Arthur Zanetti (Gymnastics - Gold in London 2012 and favorite in Rio 2016) Robert Scheidt (boater - This is his last Olympics - 5 medals including 2 gold in six editions) Marcus Vinicius D'Almeida (Archery - Silver in 2014 World Championship - Bronze in the Pan American Games 2015, is 18 years old). In my opinion goes between these names the standard-bearer. Have names like Neymar (Soccer Male) and Ricardo Pessoa (Equestrian) that some pose as potential names I do not bet, Neymar is football and may not even be in the parade, as Person has been flag bearers in London in 2012.

Garibaldi is a little known character in Brazil, his fame very limited in Rio Grande do Sul. Now we speak of His Imperial Highness Princess Isabel, is required. If we play in the history of slavery or is spoken of Brazil Empire (1822-1889) have to talk about it. -

Yes, but the economic outlook is improving. People come to disengaging the political news gradually. Also, I do not believe that because of Rousseff out of power people will fail to see the Olympics. The channels will broadcast the games, with or without political crisis. And people will watch the games with or without political crisis.

2016 Political Crisis in Brazil

Wagner Moura is known for its leftmost position. I'd be surprised if he was in favor of the center-right government made by Temer. Well, about the protests, the streets are relatively peaceful. There are manifestations of the left, which is natural in a democracy. People are encouraging, the economic numbers are improving. Look at that amazing! The trust of the people and industry in Brazil went up in the last month. The forecasts of the economy with Dilma week were worse already give good signs of improvement: The GDP this year would shrink -3.90% in the worst forecast some time ago, now Temer is expected to shrink -3.6%. For next year the economy will grow 1% against the forecast of 0.5% made before. The Brazil without Dilma is better than Brazil with Dilma.
