I did call my visa. All of them actually. THey are approving the transaction and the source is rejecting them--so I don't know what is going on or what to do to complete the purchase. I sent a note via the contact us line but I am not optimistic. I do have a PO box so I am not sure if that creates a problem. Anyone know what to put for District? I have been putting County but that may be the problem.

Now , one US dollar cost 3.57 reais , for it is said that the cost for Brazil is lower than for foreigners. From June 1 , anyone can buy the box office, but sales are in reais. The site will not sell at a different price at the box office . If ATRs can not compete they can return unsold tickets . CoSport tried in vain to renegotiate the conditions of the contract , but had the option of using real currency and as they did not want . Some ATRs negotiated in Brazilian currency and made a lot of money. ATRs doesn t sell only tickets. They have hospitality packs, hotels pack, and, they sold many tickets, especially in USA. And have the You have the right to do this in RIO2016, Tokio2020, London2012, .... so they doesn t lost money...

To find out which tickets are available , just visit the page tickets. I think no need to be logged in to an account to simulate a purchase. Of course, ceremonies and finals are sold out , but for some sports and preliminary games there are many same tickets at cheaper categories.

So, best way is to wait for foreign sales on the site Rio2016 . But be sure to try to buy on the first day ...brazilians love volleyball.

Am in the US and wanted to see if anyone has access to 2 or 3 Opening Ceremony tickets. Have not been lucky enough to find them on US CoSport. Willing to pay some premium plus PayPal fees plus mailing fees. Have attended Vancouver, London and Sochi Openings and don't want to break the string.

For those in the US who purchased tickets through the Brazilian site, how are you planning to get your tickets from friends/contacts in Brazil once they arrive? Are you just picking it up when you arrive or having them mailed ahead of time? If so, what mail service are you planning to use? I'm trying to figure out what the safest method will be for me.
Also, has anyone noticed the recent addition of "e-tickets" under the FAQ on the ingressos.rio website? I don't think they will allow us to change from home delivery now, but I wonder if anyone has tried? e-tickets would obviously be the easiest for this situation if they allowed it.

About e-tickets , they will not change the form of delivery, except when they can not deliver at the address provided . I imagine that in this case the tickets are to be removed at the box office .Ticket buyers in Brazil , can now choose e-tickets on new purchases , but even the e-tickets will be sent closer to the games, is also already informed the seat was purchased.

I'm confused by the basketball scheduling. I have ticket to BK054 (on the 17th, 2:30-4), would that include seeing the USA team?
Hard to say. The published schedules are subject to change and it is thought that U.S.A. prefer to play at night ... We can only hope.

FIBA allready announced the dates USA will play their preliminary round match :
August 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th and 14th
But the time of the day isn't confirmed yet
There's three game per day
one in the afternoon, one at 19h00 (finishing at 20h45) and one at 22h30 (finishing ah 00h15)
It's sure that USA won't play the afternoon match to be prime time on TV for the american market.
Then, choice of 19h00 and 22h30
Swimming Finals start at 22h00
So, All the USA Basketball games should be at 19h00
For 06th and 14th we have to consider it's Saturday and Sunday, so it s possible a afternoon match. For the other days, I agree with Petrus, US don t play afternoon matchs.

If You are from Europe, maybe it s possible closing tickets oficial sellers ou prices and other great sports. For americans, they need to visit CoSport site daily, twice a day , may make available new tickets . Good luck! I took the liberty of sending an e -mail seeking exchanges of tickets.

So, I just found out that I will be able attend that Games (after thinking that I would not be able to for over a year). Because I thought that I was unable to attend, I did not purchase tickets and am now scrambling to find some. If anyone has any tickets available for between August 10 - 17, please let me know your asking price. I don't think anyone has been able to score Opening tickets. In prior years was able to buy them on Ebay but even they don't show any opening tickets available.
Brazilian tickets will be sent in May or june, then they possibly will be on ebay after that. Because they haven t ticket's scans now. But the price for this tickets in Brazil is too expensive. Maybe in hospitality package it s possible to find cheaper
