Well in truth it would be pretty pathetic for some Geelong Councillors to be crying poor, particularly as Geelong has directly benefitted since 2005 from some $300 million in State Government funded upgrades to Kardinia Park and the money that hosting 10 AFL home and away games per season, BBL games and several Western United games directly feeds back into the city each year.1 point
