  1. What a vile, unpleasant place this forum has become. Have some of you heard yourselves? You do realise that most of what some of you are displaying here amounts to not much more than bullying, abuse and intimidation? You come here for fun? Grow the hell up!!! It is quite obvious that many of you are enjoying the current situation with Tony. Tony could try the patience of a saint - granted - but I think after a while you have to just ignore those that you conflict with. I came here originally to learn and share thoughts with likeminded people on a common interest. I am sure many of you did the

  3. What disgusts me most is that through all this hand-wringing over dates, NOBODY in the football world has raised Qatar's appalling human rights record & the working conditions faced by the people who'll be building the World Cup - basically slavery - as a reason why Qatar shouldn't host 22. All the climate problems will of course impact on the Cup & on all of football, & having to hold it in December is utterly ridiculous & reason enough to move the tournament, but I dread to think how many people will die as a direct result of FIFA's greed. UEFA should be ashamed of themselves

  6. ...can I submit a logo for Vienna? ...I made a vertical and horizontal one. ...the vertical one is primary but the horizontal might be good for some applications. ...if selected I could also make a letterhead or template for your reports if you want. I took the design brief and worked in the Austrian colors and flag. You can also say the point is a VERY modern-impression of the tall tower of St. Stephen's Chathedral and the other lower blunt right side represents the cathedrals 2 shorter towers....and obviously it's all represented with a V for Vienna. I also think the racing stripe vibe

  9. It's UN-WATCHABLE with the English commentary trying to be heard over the screaming Arabic commentary. This thing is just trash.

  10. Mo Farah has returned to the London 2012 Olympic Stadium, the scene of his double gold-medal winning success, to launch this summer's edition of the Sainsbury's Anniversary Games. The world's best athletes are set to head to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for the three-day athletics spectacular, including a two-day International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Diamond League meeting from July 24 to 25, and the Sainsbury's International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Athletics Grand Prix Final on July 26. With the IAAF World Championships set to take place in Beijing from August 22

  11. This is one thing that you cannot lay at the feet of Blatter. Almost all reports from the vote had Blatter supporting the Americans. It was Plantini and the Spanish/Portuguese that are the blame for this nonsense.

  12. No internet access at home maybe, maybe he's at college and has a break between classes at that time? It's hardly the weirdest thing in the world that someone would access a site at the same time each day. It's a bit weirder that you're keeping track of his posting times if I'm honest.

  14. Dresden was really unnecessary, especially at that stage of the war. But 70 years on, what really angers me is that neo-fascist movements here use this for their own purposes, conveniently leaving out the historical context.
