The Closing Ceremony is set for 20:30 local time, March 15, and will take place at the Cortina Curling Olympic™ Stadium.

Produced by Filmmaster, the Opening Ceremony is entitled Life in Motion, and it will serve as "a tribute to life as change and transformation, inspired by the language of art and its unique ability to interpret the ever-changing contemporary reality." Among the publicly named stars of the show, the ceremony will feature participation from the general public. I hope you all remembered to submit a video clip of you singing Volare!

The Opening Ceremony is set for 20:00 local time, March 6, and will take place at the Verona Olympic™ Arena.

For the first time since Sarajevo 1984 the Ceremonies for Milan-Cortina 2026 will be held in different venues. The Opening Ceremony will be held at San Siro which will be the old 60,000 seat stadium while the Closing Ceremony will be held at the historic Verona Arena in Verona. 

In around 18 months or so, the Milan Cortina 2026 Opening Ceremony and likely Cauldron ignition location is due be held at San Siro Stadium in Milano.

With Cauldron guessing discussions a bit of a Gamesbids tradition, does anyone have any ideas on what we can expect in 2026?

I know our own Cauldron Whisperer @fusilli correctly predicted in 2023 the concept of the Paris 2024 Cauldron.

About LA'28, way too early. Clues are still vague to be on the radar. But I can start catching Milan's..

Logistically, it's feasible but do they really need to do it again?  Otherwise, how will a flame suddenly appear at the Verona Arena for no reason at all??
