Yedioth Ahronoth gazetesi, “Knesset Üyeleri’nin Türkiye’den Olimpiyat İntikamı” başlığıyla verdiği haberde, “İsrail’in, Türkiye’nin protesto hareketlerinden intikamını, beklenmedik bir yönden gelebilir ve ağır bir bedeli olabilir” yorumunu yaptı.

Bir grup Knesset üyesinin İstanbul’un 2020 Olimpiyatlarına ev sahipliği yapmasını önlemek için Amerikan ve Avrupalı parlamenterlerle birlikte uluslararası bir kampanya başlattığını belirten gazete, gruba liderlik yapan, İsrail’de iktidardaki Likut üyesi Knesset Başkan Yardımcısı Danny Danon’un başta ABD ve Avrupa olmak üzere çeşitli ülkelerden, “İsrail dostu” olarak tanınan parlamento üyeleriyle buluştuğunu kaydetti.

This News was spread out in sept-oct period in the year of 2010. Via Google Earth a Turkish turco-fil man discouvered something very special. The Mystical and Mysterious side of is that the Map of the City of Istanbul forms the Face of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent .. if you turn the map 90°. But for me the face looks from time to time to that of Farao Touth-Ank-Amon .. But short; The topographical coastal lines of Istanbul are forming a face. And that face is again a part of a praying men .. putted photos and video above . Finally, I would like to get know opinions of other members here on GB.

The Ataköy (ata-köy = father-village) is a huge quarter in the BAKIRKÖY (copper-village) district. This cluster is the closest cluster to the Atatürk Aiport. The Aiport, Ataköy Cluster and the historicle penunsula downtown are already connected via LRT-metro line. This cluster is destined as a cluster for an eventually Olimpic Games, as the the Turkish National Olympic Committee (NOC - TMOK) is established here; Also called the Olympic House. In total 3 venues are build here. The biggest Basketball tempel 'Sinan Erdem Dome' and the Olympic Pool (later use for waterpolo) plus a 7.500 seater indoor mutli-use sports-hall are integrated in this cluster.

==> Rail distances in minutes;

* From Airport to City Center takes between 15-20 minutes.
* From Airport to Ataköy cluster takes 5 minutes
* From Ataköy cluster to Downtown takes 13-15 minutes

This topic is dedicated for the spectacular, finest, best and selected videos about the City. It is not to meant that all videos found on video websites will be published here. It's all about to share the best amateurish videos made with an professional intention and ofcourse the professional videos. I will try to do my best to write down a little narration about the video and if it's possible to give you the respectively important minutes where the interesting views are located in the video itself. I hope it will give us a colourfull visit to the Imperial city of Constantinople; videos wherby the city is told by book-writers, artiest, ingenieers, teachers etc .. so not only mucic videos or videos totally made up by photos. At this topic you will enjoy every range/sort of video .. the variation will bring freshness to you .. Stay tuned ;)


The first video is made by a friend who live in Minnesota in the USA. He is also a member like me on the wowturkey.com forums. All the pictures used in the videos or from wowturkey.com. We also worked toghether on other videos, but I will share them later on.

note: I will promise for interesting freshnes (oriental flavour and modern sauces)
