The question is does the USOC even want a Pan Am Games. Their last bid was for 2007 with San Antonio and that was only a half hearted effort though granted it wasn't going to beat Rio

Seems like a much more compact and more sustainable plan. Again, could this be used a possible blueprint for a future Olympic bid?

A Paris is only doomed if South Africa decides to give 2024 a go. If they do, whether with Durban, Cape Town, or Johannesburg, it's their's to lose. If they sit another round out, coupled with a Tokyo win for 2020, then I think a Paris 2024 bid would all be but a sure bet.

For arguments sake, let's say Turkey picks the Olympics of Euro 2020. That leaves the UEFA with no bids. What would be UEFA's next step? Extend the bidding deadline and hope somebody else comes forward or go begging to an established football power that has the stadiums and infrastructure ready to go like Germany, Spain, Italy, England, or even Portugal again?

If London can become the first three time Summer Games host then I see no reason why Innsbruck cannot become the first thre time Winter Games host.
