just watched the whole semi final, here are my thoughts.
  • The host were actually quite good - not the shouting i as expecting, although they were very clinical and serious
  • Love the postcards - very professional
  • Like the idea of the green room at the back - much more engaging
  • Interval act i thought was superb - very cultural - music was great
  • Camera work could have been better
  • Graphics and stage look great - very professional
  • Lacked atmosphere from previous editions, the audience didn't seem as enthused as past editions
  • Switzerland, Finland and Latvia should have qualified instead of Cyprus, Russia and Moldova
Overall a very professional staging but lacked the fun and atmosphere of past contests. Hopefully this will change as the week goes on. Wel done Baku
