Forever Friends
sang by :Coco Lee & Sun Nan
lyric:Michael Kunze Music:Kong XiangDong

down load address:http://video.chinanews.com.cn/flv/2007/other/Forever%20Friends.mp3

lyric:______________________________________
you've tasted bitter defeat and the sweet success.
you want it all and you settle for nothing less.
you've tried harder than the rest.you've become one of the best.
this is the time you'll remember for all your life
forever friends
in harmony
as the whole world joins and sees days of unity and peace.
forever through the years
we'll hear the cheers.
joy and laughter everywhere!
we're together here to share
forever friends

you'll meet all races, see faces you've never seen.
people from parts of the world where you've never been.
and you'll feel it in your heart we spent too much time apart
this is the time when all dreams of man come alive.
forever friends as the whole world joins and sees days of unity and peace.
forever through the years
we'll hear the cheers.
joy and laughter everywhere!
we're together here to share
forever friends

(no matter where we are or go)
(no matter what we hope for or know)
(no matter how we word our prayer)
(there is one dream we share)

forever friends in harmony!
forever friends (one dream we dream, one world we share)
________________________________________________________________________

Put mellifluent melody and typical Chinese traditional music element in it.
This song maybe become one Olympic Theme song for Beijing 2008. Michael Kunze's "HAND IN HAND" for Seoul 1988 is very famouse. BOCOG like this song very much. And "Forever Friends"was made a new record these days.
This new edition sang by Coco Lee and Sun Nan

"One World One Dream" is a Chinese song.
Maybe you just could understand "One World One Dream"in the lyric. But that's a great song.
And i think BOCOG will select it.

also some pix for Na Ying

When will BOCOG choose the theme song and announce the result?

By the way: I believe you already posted the first song a couple of months ago. Frankly, I don't like it at all -- it doesn't sound modern but rather late-1980s-/early-1990s-like and its lyrics are just exchangeable "the world comes together as one", "you'll remember that moment for all your life" rubbish.

I hope that BOCOG chooses something more unique, more creative and especially more modern for its theme song.
