Toxic spills can last decades if not cleaned up properly, which is why I don't think the IOC would want to host there anytime soon. Would you want to visit a place where the running water is toxic to humans?

Regardless of who wins 2014, the US, Sweden, and Switzerland would all definitely be the frontrunners, if bidding.

2016 could easily go to Rio

i hope that Ostersund, Berne and Denver host in the near future, it would be nice - all three cities are beautiful, clean and winter sport heavens

i hope Sofia or Salzburg take 2018, the USA loses 2016, and than Denver takes 2018
