Hmmm, the logo is a lil bit busy Im thinking.
I guess there is the central object of the stylised *Africa* and the rockpainting player, but still.
The FIFA World Cup logo doesnt really fit in that well, as mentioned, not as good as the Germany version.
Actually, at first I hated the 2006 logo, but now, I love it.
So maybe this will grow on me.
I do think though, that the font for the 2010 logo is fugly.

the logo is ok. but i think FIFA should come up with a new logo forthe world cup that is more universal like the olympic rings.

Wich countries will make the final round? I hope Cameroon, Angola and Ivory Coast returns, and I will also like to see Kenya in its first WC

A German company has been awarded the contract for three WC 2010 stadia:

Gerkan Marg and Partner (gmp) said they will design the stadiums in Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth.
The ground in Durban will be the biggest of the three with 85,000 seats.
``We plan to work with local architects on all three stadiums,'' the director of the company, Volkwin Marg, told Die Welt newspaper.

In 2010, the championship will be played in 10 stadiums in nine South African cities. It will be the first time the tournament will be held in Africa.
