thatsnotmypuppy
What will happen is this - The IAAF will completely rebrand as Athletics. Now (the dot is not silent) or GoAthetics. Something catchy that all the "kids" will be down with. They will get a whole bunch of young "hot" athletes to be in their promotional crap. A new 'executive inner circle' will be announced featuring a few popular current athletes, a few retired legends and a couple of human rights/political heroes. They are used as a rubber stamp and have no real power/say. They will give the next available IAAF championships to a 'developing' region (Morocco? South Africa? Ethiopia? India?) They'll wrestle some legitimacy by getting a new sports sponsor on board (Asics?) even though they probably won't get any real money out of it - it's all for face. Coe will be heralded as a "saviour of the sport" yet nothing will really change. The end.
