Too soon after Sydney. They have to get back at the end of the Olympic line.

Sure, it would be nice to host again. But personally, I think a home Olympics should be a once in a lifetime event. Just makes it all that more rare and special.

I'd love a Melbourne bid for 2024 because they would mot likely lose thus giving Brisbane a chance in the future. Like Brisbane and Melbourne was in 1992 and 1996 for the big one in 2000.

For me, Sydney 2000 could be the only Olympic Games I get to see, on TV of course, coming from Australia in my lifetime.
