How much of a part could Baltimore play In a hypothetical future DC bid.

If I recall, Washington 2012 didn't do well bcuz it was too spread out with Baltimore N Annapolis. But then again, the USOC picked that pseudo "San Francisco" 2012 bid to continue.

Well, SF is a much smaller area than the DC-Baltimore-Annapolis scheme. U can't blame SF for its small size. But the main IOC hotel would've been in SF anyway, so to them, that qualified enough as a SF bid. Besides, the plan sharpened up a lot more for 2016.

I would like the olympics in DC-Baltimore, but it is SOOOO hot there I doubt any of the athletes would enjoy there stay.

New York can 'B' just as miserable in the summer. But everyones always loves to just drool over a NYC Olympics.

To be honest, I'm not sure Michael Phelps has the personality to play a major part in any bid. His life is swimming and video games -- and it kind of shows.

"...unforgettable, dream Games..."
