Spain defeats Ireland 4-0. Ireland is the first team out of this tournament. And the Irish supporters started chanting in the final minutes and are still chanting at this moment. The German TV commentator even fell dead silent to let the viewers listen to the singing. Incredible. Ireland has terrific supporters.

Ireland have a decent enough team, I don't think there'll be be any real unhappiness. They did well to get to their first tournament for a while, and ended up in a really nasty group. They will be annoyed at some of the silly mistakes they made last night, but I don't think there'll be an autopsy when they arrive back in Dublin.
