Not sure if this is just something happening in Australia - or if its global, but McDonald's here have started a new menu in the lead up to the London Olympics - themed on all host cities since 1992, with the exception of Athens (as if they couldn't have found something interesting themed on Greek food?), and the inclusion of Paris - which is strange in itself, as not having hosted since 1924 is not really an Olympic city in the recollective memory of most people.

London Fish and Fries
Beijing Chicken
Sydney Stack
Atlanta Pork McRib
Barcelona Omelette
Paris Choc Delite.

They couldn't have thrown some feta on burger and called it the Big Greek?

I'm sure Gamesbidders could have helped out with much more creative ideas. ;)

We have them over here in NZ too, seems to be promoting the Sydney Stack and the Barcelona one the most. Haven't had any myself.

Well, I think it's totally unfair we've been denied Baku Burgers and Doha Pork and Bacon Wraps!

We don't have the Paris thing here in NZ but we have the Athens peach and Apricot Pie. I am surprised the UK McDonalds are not doing these. I always find the Uk Mcdonalds menu so boring compared to other countries.

Yep i work at Maccas and the stuff is pretty pricey the Sydney stack on its own is $6.95 but the Paris choc delight is cheap and worth it
We also will be having coke glasses starting 18th of July i'm pretty sure that's the date unsure if we will have the kids happy meal toys.

We have them over here in NZ too, seems to be promoting the Sydney Stack and the Barcelona one the most. Haven't had any myself.

they are the ones that have come out as well as paris and the atlanta pork mcrib, beijing chicken and london fries will be soon

Somewhere at home I home I have a McDonalds Atlanta 1996 and Beijing 2008 coke glass, I don't remember picking them up for any other Games.

I am suprised that the Pork Burger isn't for Beijing - and the Peach and Apricot dessert isn't for Atlanta? And yes, a fetta cheese burger could have worked for Athens.

Maybe we could see Brazilian BBQ Burger in 2016?

This is funny but do average people really remember past hosts? Vogue interviewed David Cameron and he says he remember Kelly Holmes winning gold but dosen't remember what city was hosting.
