I strongly suspect it will be called the London Olympic Stadium. I think the wider Lea Valley Park might get called Diamond Jubilee Park. Who knows?

Simple:
London Olympic Stadium
Olympic Stadium
London Park
Cheese:
Enternity Park
Century Stadium
Spirit Stadium
Thames Stadium
Maybe London should stick to something simple and name the roads running through the olympic precent after famous athletes or icons much like Sydney did with Edwin Flank Avn. and Dawn Fraser Avn.

As far as I know he's got his life back on track after being decared bankrupt. He also lived in Lake Placid for a few years and I think he was a skiing insructor.

Anybody like the sound of the "Queen Elizabeth II Stadium", or could it be re-christened as such after the event, maybe?
Given that Her Maj isn't exactly a huge sports fan. I'd imagine a Madrid Olympics would probably have had an Estadio del Rey Juan Carlos or something.
On second thoughts, the legacy stadium will probably end up being the O2 Stadium, or the Vodafone Stadium, or the... you get my drift.

What will the new stadium in the Lea Valley be called?
Will it simply be Olympic Stadium? Will they take a page out of Sydney 2000 and WC France 1998 and call it something like Stadium Great Britain or Stadium Britannia or Stade de Londres (joking)? Or will they name it after a British leader, historical figure or athlete?
Any ideas?

I was wondering about this the other day. Do you think that they might choose to recognise the Queens Diamond Jubilee by naming it the Jubilee stadium or something similar?
