It ranks Baku with the highest public support (9), followed by Doha and Istanbul at 8; and Tokyo lowest at 6. Interesting.

Are Doha and Baku really necessary for the Short List? I hope the IOC trims the gristle.

Yeah, you show them! Are you gonna send a nasty email to Ed (do you guys see each other all the time around the traps?)

Anyway, when's the Bid Index coming out?

Not much between all the scores for the Power Index. No surprise to see Tokyo on top. But surprised to see Baku ranked last with Madrid on financing. I thought all the Baku boosters had been telling us they're flush with ready cash?

The diff between the 2 Indeces will be the GB PowerIndex will factor in Baron's Revolving restaurant Index and the "nO tOkyO 2O2O" algorithm . That will be the decisive difference!

So it's official now - Doha and Baku have 20 per cent less ambience than Tok/Ist/Mad!

When are all the Doha and Baku boosters gonna come on to educate us about how the index is biased?

Finance: Tokyo 7? Madrid 5? Hmmm...

Despite this, I agree with most scores given.

I also think GB Index is more accurate.

Can't wait for the BidIndex to come out. However, it is about 2 months away, before the list is cut to the candidate cities eligible to bid for 2020.
