It was a real battle between Sertab Erener and Maria Serifovic. I went for Sertab because in my opinion she rescued Eurovision from a run of very poor Eurovision winners. That year was a very special year and her victory just seemed to set Eurovision back on course again. She was of course utterly fabulous and faultless in her performance. Love it!

sertab for sure...
and the "show" at the stage started at eurovision after that. even more importance than the songs
The Persian name was Dersaadet—Door to the Ultimate Happiness. The Greeks called it Teofilaktos—City Guarded by God; the Romans, Nuova Roma—New Rome; the Arabs, Farrouk—City Separating Two Continents; and the Ottoman Turks, Ummti-diinya—Mother of the World. Now, and since 1923 when the Turkish Republic formally renamed it, it is called Istanbul, meaning just The City—as though there were none other to compare.

I voted for Molitva, one of the best songs ever in the ESC.
Sertab and Helena's were really good songs, but Molitva is on a different level.

Still to this day I fail to see what people see in Fairytale. I find it the most boring song ever. It does nothing for me.
