This is exactly the reason why Boris Johnson (current mayor) is wanting a new London airport to replace heathrow. Currently most Heathrow bound air traffic has to fly over central London.

Ripley, do you think that this plane is real (I mean that it was there when the pics were shot by the satellite? It looks like a hoax by google maps...

I'm sure it's real. At the height these photos are taken at the distance between the ground and this plane is small compared with the distance between the plane and the satellite.

Well, those pics are shot from satellites that fly at a height of a few hundred km. So this plane just may have flew there on a height of one or two kilometres....

... but then you have to find a lot of aircrafts on google maps around airports (especially in the entry lane of huge airports - the normal approach on Heathrow is from east to west in the south of river Thames - you must find several airplanes approaching Heathrow...)
