This certainly isn't worth its own post, but I couldn't find the old thread about the emblem.

Anyway, I was derpin around and I was looking at a stylized map of Britain... and I thought that it vaguely the first '2' in the London 2012 emblem. Then I started looking at the other shapes. You know how these things go though, whatever you're looking for--whatever hidden meaning--you'll find it, right?

Posted Image (As an aside, this is my favorite version of the emblem.)

So here goes: 2 - Britain, 0 - Scandanavia, 1 - Iberia, 2 - Germany to Italy. And that little bit in the middle could be Denmark, jutting out into the sea. Nothing to scale, of course. So it's a very stylized depiction of Western Europe!

Again, just having some fun. I 100% doubt that this was intentional by the designers. Feel free to tear this idea apart. I know how the internet is.

2 : Bart Simpson's upper body
0 : Lisa Simpson's head
1 :Bart Simspon's legs
2 : Lisa Simspon's legs

And the little bit in the middle is Bart's willy getting sucked off.

it's really not worth reading too much into it. I just dread the next one - sochi's.

2- 2
0- 0
1- 1
2- 2

2012, the year history is made by the Olympics to inspire change.

And then if you draw out all the lines from the shape of the logo you get all the energy shards that appear on the stadium and Park concourse and on the promotional branding.

You didn't say anything new, but what a perfect response, and great timing! I haven't laughed so hard at a post in a while

Interesting interpretation. How about:

Bart's upper body - Northern Ireland
Lisa's head - Scotland
Bart's legs - Ireland
Lisa's legs - England

Bart's willy - Wales

I have only seen lisa and bart in the London logo since the day it debuted in 2007 and someone had it animated within hours... every single time I see that shape that instantly what i see... grr...

Hidden meaning in Sochi logo? LOL Yet I will take the bland corporate-ness of the Sochi logo over the awfulness of the London logo anyday... I miss the days of the 90's logos... Barcelona, Lillehammar, Atlanta, Nagano, Sydney, and even Salt Lake... simply, classic, classy, 'olympic-y'... those were the days...

So Scotland is fellating Ireland with England's support?
