Nope. Only those from Argentina, USA and Venezuela. :) People didn't brought the Embraer and Mad Cow issues back, otherwise canadians would probably be slapped with cow beefs and paper airplanes i the stadium, don't you think?

- Sadly, few "left behind" Cubans were very booed at last of competitions after the whole Cuban delegation abandoned Rio before the Closing Ceremony because of the "runaway" athletes...

- Still about booing, the booing only lasted the first three or four days. How many times and how many Youtube links must we put here to you guys understand that.
After a massive campaign from media and stadiums soundspeakers Brazilians not used to some sports behaviour understood that you can not be a "Soccer fan" at every competition.

- USA is booed everywhere from Miss Universe Pageants to Economic Conferences...Let's not create another "Rio's first" issue on something Rio is really not the first...

- To boo Argentina is always a national tradition, the otherwise also happens, indeed, Argentines loves to set fire in Brazilian flags during soccer matches... And it's sports only, as Vic said, since Argentina depends a lot of Brazil to simply exist...

- And Victor is again right. We are not speakers from the entire Brazilian population.

Danny, I didn't call Brazil immature. That's your word. As a player on the world stage Brazil is fairly new to the party. Brazil does not have the historical legacy behind it that other powers do. That is a fact. It's not shameful, it's just reality. I hope Brazil continues to grow and thrive in the future. I hope the Games are a great success.

GBForums have been boring lately... Miss the good discussions and points. The nice follow-ups on buildings and so on...
Now we have only chat with trolls or weeks without the old good boys posting...
So I'm giving a break, but I'll be back soon. Meanwhile I'll be around in SkyScrapercity, where no trolling and city vs. city is allowed.

Really? Well, I was at the stadium and just checked the OC video again and nope: nothing about the canadians. Maybe because we've nothing against canadians! Your and Danniel's issue doesn't count as an authentic international rivalry haha

Plus: Brazil isn't particularly bitter to any country, even Argentina. The mutual bitching is sports related ONLY, since there's rarely any controversy between us and our most important partner in South America. If there's any bitterness, I'd say it is much more against Portugal than any other country in the world and we're not even close to being unfriendly to them.

Just to finish, neither Danniel, nor I, speak on behalf of our country and our cultures, so please don't take any of our posts as official statements assuming the whole of Brazil thinks the same way.

I believe it was during gymnastics don't remember.
