How much do Canadians watch NFL football, and the Super Bowl in general?

The AFC side of the Super Bowl equation is getting a little redundant as the either the Patriots, Steelers, or Colts have been in since Super Bowl XXXVIII. The NFC, however, would have had its 9th different representative had San Francisco won, but we'll have to settle for 8 teams in 9 years.
For our foreign friends who are fortunate enough to have never heard of the NFL, count yourself lucky. These next two weeks will be a celebration of American excess unparalleled anywhere in the sports world. Hundreds of hours of hype for a three hour American football game. By the time the game kicks off at 1830 EST on the 5th of February, I will be so beaten down, I'll just want to get it over with and forget about the NFL for 8 months.

Super Bowl is a big deal here I believe last year broke a Canadian record. I watch NFL occasionally and prefer it over Canadian football (which gets very good ratings in Canada)

We Americans should make Super Sunday into a national holiday given the hype it gets nationally all week long to that day.
CTV is airing the Super Bowl again up in Canada.
Anyway, Go Giants!!! They're the only hope in stopping that morally corrupt and arrogant Evil Empire New England whom the Ravens should've won over yesterday. They did it before y'know and damn well will do it again. Wish my Houston Texans were in it instead.

Super Bowl is the biggest sporting event of the year - the world cup and Olympic in their respective years.

I hope it's as good as the game 4 years ago. Same outcome would be nice, too.
