At work so can't listen to it, but if it's a mascot song then it's not really aimed at us is it? If it's aimed at kids and sounds like S Club, fine, so long as we don't have to hear it played too often during the Games themselves.

I would say most, Britain has a much stronger musical tradition then that. I just really hope the triple egos of British Isles Music don't rear their self-important heads at London.

This is a tune for the mascots, its aimed at what, 3 to 12 year olds. Its perfect for them, catchy, upbeat, using a school choir is a lovely touch.

Just to emphasise: The article talks about Elbow recording the BBC's theme for the London Olympics, it's not the official theme for the London Olympics in total.
