actually it's 44 to 39% in favor of Obama. Depends on the poll you use. My first thought to that was not bad for guy who hasn't been heard of until last month. Yes Obama is winning polls because like me with others. I have never heard of those people before other than Perry, Mccain, Paul and Romney. How can you vote for people you don't know!

But here's why I feel good about 2012. Were taking over Blue States

In case you forgot: My link

Remeber Congress last year? how we took over that?

Reps got a good thing going right now. Don't make it such a guarantee yet that the Dems will win. History is saying slow down.

It's quite hard to know who's telling the truth. I support Obama but when Bush was the president the republicans made the same terrorism during that huge bailout that needed to be approved to "supposedly" save the banks. The first day it didn't pass but some days later they approved the bailout...

and some weeks later the banks used part of that money to pay millionaire bonuses to its CEO's..

So yeh, the numbers are so huge and it involves so many complex situations that we really don't know what's really true and what is just 'psychological terrorism'.

Anyway, since I support Obama I hope it gets approved but I really not naive enough to think he's "100% right, he's god on earg" and the republicans are "100% wrong, and are the devil on earth".

Actually, there is a big backlash against Republicans coming soon, every special election since the Midterms in 2010 has gone in favour of Democrats, and the favourability rating of the Republican Party is in it's lowest in history, they are appearing bickering and partisan with this whole debt mess.

The problem with the Republican party is that they were taken hostage by the Tea Baggers lunatics, they are extremists, and that doesn't sit well with the independents that decide the elections.

Uhmmm...study the last 7 or 8 elections (Presidential & mid-year), you will find that all teh voters come out in FULL force in the presidential elections. In the mid-years, the "in" parties tend to relax little, and the "out" parties, still smarting from the smacking they got in the last one, do come back with a little vengeance. But when the presidential year comes around again, whatever mischiefs played by the "out" party in the intervening year to block the White House occupant's party, are immediately remembered by the general electorate and drub the "out"party (i.e., you Tea-Party republicans) even more. I mean, you guys are amateurs. Just listen to theleaks coming out of Washington now. THe people are overwhelming the offices of your mini-party to ease up and compromise because it will eventually LAND on your heads again come Nov. next year.

I emailed some Republican Reps after Tuesday night's speeches. It is really just pathetic the way they have been acting.

:( Man they've gotta get this right...We seem to forget that China holds a fair chunk of US Bond Issues. If, and it now looks likely even with a last minute compromise, the US gets a credit downgrade...You can forget a swift recovery this side of 2015. Next year's election will count for nothing. If the US topples over, then so does China, and as we all know, Europe is in no better shape.

It's simple...Trim spending.

Looks like things are only going to get worse before they get better even though raising the debt ceiling just passed.

Now that they've finally agreed to raise the debt ceiling, does this mean the US's triple A credit rating is now secured?
