May be some of us (mainly students) could not afford to attend the games & want to live the olympics' experience through a different point of view....

You could have joined the Volunteers' team... but it's too late I think and you are not paid....
Or you could try to get a job directly linked to the games ...

Let's share some usefull links & opportunities here...

First of all the LOCOG website : https://locogrecruit...2.com/jobs/main

Or some jobs at the ODA (Olympic Delivery Agency) : http://www.london201...obs-at-the-oda/

The Adecco, official recruitment services provider website : http://www.jobsforthegames.co.uk/

And a new one with a lot of recruitment, around housekeeping & cleaning, the cleanevent website : http://www.spotless.com/2012/index.htm

Another big one will be the security & event services provider.... but could not find a link yet !

It is also smart to check out the individual hospitality providers; SportsMark, Concierto, etc.

Just keep in mind the regulations regarding documentation for you to work in England. LOCOG is very reluctant to bring in anyone that is not already legally allowed to work in the UK; somehow, it costs them a lot of money to do so. Maybe that's not an issue for EU citizens, but for US citizens it's been a real hassle.
WE LOVE BELA BARTOK

I still like Annecy

You're right, but it is the same difficulties mostly everywhere around the world... you could not imagine the difficuties I had to get my work visa for the 2010 games in Canada !

But, that's true than any EU citizens will have no problem to work in UK, as we are allowed to work allaround EU without any restriction.

For Non-EU citizen, that mostly could be interest in the temporary positions, i meant students or youth... there is a specific aggreement in UK that allow them to work (and that it is easy to get, if you are on time)... a working holiday visa program renamed now "Youth Mobility Scheme" : http://www.ukba.home...mobilityscheme/ . Available for citizen from :
Australia
Canada
Japan
New Zealand
Monaco
(Funny to see Monaco... i was thinking they had all the same rights than EU (or French) citizens... but i may be wrong on this one)
