Interesting discoveries:

The Athletes' Village was planned to be located at the boating docks near Docklands Stadium. The Main Media Centre was a planned 20 floor office building offering up to 80,000sqm of rent-able space.

Some sports, such as Boxing, Judo and Wrestling would have been held at an expanded Royal Exhibition Building, on land of what is now Melbourne Museum.
