Here in Germany we haven't really heared anything what David/Nick did in the last 100 days - e.g. which laws had been introduced...?

I think the Conservatives should stop banging on and on about having to make draconian cuts. They may be necessary but they also need to give people hope and confidence as well and manage any cuts they have to make sensibly and humanely. They need to get the tone right, especially Osborne! Spreading doom and gloom only adds to people's fears and prevents them from investing and spending to help boost our already fragile economic recovery!
I think Cameron needs to stop shooting his mouth off and stop making ignorant gaffes like attacking Pakistan whilst on Indian soil (yes,he may have a point but you don't say it on the soil of one of that country's biggest enemies just to make yourself look good to your new Indian chums.Pakistan is a friend and ally too),or referring to Britain as the USA's 'junior partner in 1940' and his shocking statement that people should not express any sympathy or compassion for Raoul Moat. Now nobody condones Moat's actions, but the guy was clearly a troubled and desperate human-being.Cameron's callous statement was an eye-opener to me that Mr.So-Called Everyman is still a posh,Tory toff at heart living in a privileged world a million miles away from the realities of working-class people and their lives. One doesn't get the impression that HE and his friends are likely to suffer much from all those draconian cuts he boasts about having to impose on the rest of us!
I'm hoping to see some more evidence soon of Nick Clegg and his party's restraining influence on Cameron,Osborne and co even towards pushing them to do things they wouldn't normally consider if they were ruling alone.I think the Lib Dems badly need to demonstrate more of this to dispel the growing notion that they have become just fellow-travellers of their coalition partners.

To me, the fundamental issue is the deficit and they're tackling it. Yes it's gonna hurt, but the sooner we start the pain, the sooner it ends.

Labour's biggest fault in the closing stages of their period in office was their inability to be straight with the electorate about just how much trouble we were in financially. The sooner we get the pain started, the sooner we can get back onto an even keel and move forward. And let's not forget that Darling admitted he would have had to put VAT up aswell.
As for Cameron himself, there is nothing wrong with candid diplomacy. The apparent failings of the Pakistan government to tackle the terrorist threat within their borders has been known for years now. There's surely only so many times that the message can be sent behind the scenes before it has to be sent out bluntly in the public domain. I'm not bothered about the 1940 issue, but I have to say I was waiting for the first use of "Tory toff". I have to say, however, that I suspect most decent-minded people will have views of Raoul Moat nearer to Cameron's than to yours, whether or not it is remotely relevant to where we're going as a country under this government.
Hopefully it will be a long game for the government, and particularly the Liberal Democrats, but whenever I hear a Labour politician or a trade union leader complaining about this government, I just want to tell them the truth - that it's because of them or their friends that we're in this mess. Whatever pain is to come, we all must remember who is to blame.

Do you mean that the new government didn't do anything the last 111 days except discussing issues?

Well, at least the UK has a government. It's not beyond the realm of possibilities we may still be trying to cobble one together in 111 days (12 days and still counting for us so far).
