anyone has the ctv broadcast? can't believe NBC cut many segments. i was looking forward to hearing john furlong's full speech but to no avail.

yeah, i'd like to find the Paralympic ceremonies. I've not found them yet except for streaming. I'd rather like a copy on disc.

The great people of VANOC have uploaded the complete Olympic opening ceremony to YouTube -- without commentary, in its "pristine" state. Wonderful! Especially bearing in mind that the IOC has become more and more strict about Games footage on YouTube.

Does anyone happen to have a HD version of the OBS feed of the Olympic OC or CC? The one on YouTube is only 480p. 
I have the CTV Blu-ray box set coming but apparently the ceremonies have been butchered.

Does anyone know where to find Lake Placid's Opening Ceremonies? I can not seem to find one video online of the cauldron lighting....not even on youtube.

Try the IOC website...they sometimes show images. But the lighting was NOT very exciting. Dr. Kerr lit the cauldron, then it went up along those pylons. That was it...no pigeons being B-B-Q'ed; no flame going out; no streakers, no wardrobe malfunctions.
