I've always looked up more to countries like Sweden.

I totally agree with you on tax reform too, but as soon as something is about to change, the top tax bracket complains. My mom always says the rich just keep getting rich, and the poor keep getting poorer :( , but it hasn't always been that way. I guess people just got greedier.

And while Sweden (nor any country) is a perfect model, its a good aspiration to have. It's amazing to think that the US has roughly the same gini coefficient (disparity between rich and poor) as China and almost double most of Europe, Canada and Australia; for a country that prides itself on freedom and cooperation.

Good on you.

Agreed. The US is going into a decline; and in its place will rise a more RIGHTIST state that will weed out all the weak and helpless and immoral elements of society. Achtung!!

The quality of U.S. public schools, IS hilarious, and is producing a generation dumb as bricks. A generation that will be our future leaders.

don't worry, our leaders are always impeccably well educated. few will be as dense as you, if that's any consolation.

even with the piss poor education system, i'd bet most of them could manage spelling 'clearly' correctly more often than not.

I must be dense. I actually used the public education system, as opposed to our President.
