OK, the 8 o'clock news showed a piece covering the Zurich meeting and they showed a nice close-up of the bid logo:

The textual portion "Bidding nation(s)..." seems exactly like the one in many of the other bid logos, with the same font and all. Could this be a FIFA template?

Portugal should include one more stadium to their proposal. And I couldn't think a better final match for 'Iberia 2018' than Brazil X Argentina :rolleyes:

On October 20th the head of the Portuguese Football Federation and the head of the Spanish Football Federation submited to FIFA the proposal for an Iberian Bid for the 2018/2022 World Cup. There will be only one bid commitee wich will have it's headquarters in Madrid, on December 4 the bid will have a big showcase in the World Cup 2010 final draw in Cape Town.

The logo has been officially presented today in Lisbon. It's been created by the same Portuguese agency that designed the Euro 2004 logo. Three Portuguese agencies and three Spanish were competing.
