Monterrey Wants To Host 2018 Youth Olympic Games
The city of Monterrey wants to bid for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games and had a meeting with Mario Vazquez Rana, President of the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO), on the subject.
Vazquez Rana said, "Monterrey is a city with a strong economy and there is no doubt that they can be a strong bid for Youth Olympic Games 2018. You should be very good for the city and very good for Mexico".
Candidate cities for the 2018 Youth Games will be selected in January 2013 and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) will vote on the host city in June 2013.Write or read comments about this article
