PyeongChang 2018 Delegation To Promote Bid At Vancouver 2010
A delegation from PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games bid committee is headed to Vancouver to begin its overseas campaign to bring the 2018 Winter Games to South Korea.
The bid committee released a statement saying, "the delegation, led by co-Chairman Cho Yang-ho and Kim Jin-sun, will fly to Vancouver to promote PyeongChang's bid to players and officials from all over the world, which will include members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC)".
Saturday a promotion booth called "(South) Korean House" will be set up in Vancouver to promote the bid.
IOC member Lee Kun-hee is a member of the delegation. He was reinstated as an IOC member Sunday.
