PyeongChang 2018 Gets Funds To Promote Bid
The Korea Herald reports the Hanjin Group, parent group of the country's largest air carrier Korean Air, has donated three billion won ($2.66 million) to help promote PyeongChang's bid for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.
Cho Yang-ho, the group's CEO and chairman, is head of a promotion committee for the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic bid.
The money will cover costs of various promotional events at the Vancouver 2010 Games next month.
