Munich 2018 Gets Support From Bundestag

The Bundestag agreed to a request from the government coalition to support
Munich's bid for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.
DPA reports the German government called Munich's bid a "national task".
German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who spoke before the bid was agreed upon, said
Munich's bid was "of national importance".
The 2018 Winter Olympic Games host city will be selected in July 2011.
