Generations For Peace founder and Chairman HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein of Jordan signed an MOU with Georgetown University on the International Day of Peace, September 21, to extend its collaboration and guaranty the offer of four academic awards within the Washington, D.C. institution's Conflict Resolution Program, to the end of 2014.

The collaboration is aimed at connecting academics with practitioners, evaluating and monitoring real life peace through sport initiatives, and helping increase their impact and sustainability in conflict zones around the world.

HRH Prince Feisal said, "Georgetown University has a deserved reputation for commitment to peace, social justice and ethics. Together we are able to provide the tools and resources that allow Generations For Peace to continue making an impact on the ground by connecting top-quality academic research with cutting-edge practice on the ground. Extending our collaboration will ensure that continues".
