London 2012's 80 million pound Olympic Park will open in 12 months with a
cycling test event.
Eurosport reports London 2012 officials expect the velodrome to be the first
major facility completed with its progress already ahead of schedule.
Work will start soon on building the track and organizers are promising the
fastest track the sport has yet seen .
The London velodrome will seat 6,000 spectators.
