The final phase of ticket sales for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games begins for the Canadian public Saturday, with more than 100,000 tickets available for events in Vancouver - including hockey, curling, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, and the nightly victory ceremonies.

The tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis through the official Vancouver 2010 website.

Organizers are reportedly putting the final touches on their ticket resale website, which they expect to launch so the public can sell the tickets they can't use.

Also available are Paralympic tickets for high-demand events such as the Opening Ceremony, sledge hockey and alpine skiing.

It's also the last chance for the public to purchase tickets in time to receive collectible, oversized tickets prominently displaying Vancouver 2010 pictograms, sport and venue illustrations. The special tickets won't be available after November 20.

Caley Denton, Vancouver 2010 vice president of ticketing and consumer marketing, said in a press release, "this is the final major release of tickets to the Games and we expect demand will be high".
