Amsterdam Hopes 2016 European Athletics Championships Boosts 2028 Olympic Bid

Amsterdam hopes hosting the 2016 European Athletics Championships at the same venue where it hosted the 1928 Olympic will boost its chances of hosting the 2028 Summer Olympic Games.
It would mark the 100-year anniversary of the city hosting the Olympics.
The European Athletics Championships will be held partly in the Olympic Stadium where the 1928 Olympics were held.
